Opaque  Firefox themeDoes this titlebar NOT stay fixed at the top of the window as you scroll?
Welcome. You're at the homepage of 'Opaque', a theme for Firefox 2 ('FF2'). This theme is for people who think the default FF2 theme is too 'washed out'.

The default FF2 icons have, by default, a very low opacity (so they look quite faint) - seemingly for the sole reason they can be raised to 100% opacity on mouseover to give the user some kind of 'visual clue' that they have run their mouse cursor over the icon. Many of us (beta testers) complained about this behaviour. We didn't need this opacity change because the button's bevel told us quite firmly that we had our mouse over it. We didn't want the low opacity because it made the button icons look faint and washed out. Why design nice colourful icons if you're just going to make them faint for 99.9% of the time (when the user doesn't have their mouse over them)? Unfortunately, they FF2 developers chose not to listen to this complaint, so this theme has been designed for those who do wish the icons not to be faint by default; opacity is at 100% all the time!

Here's a comparison of what the FF2 toolbar looks like by default, and how it should look with this theme applied:

Quite a difference. Enjoy!
