Greetings, brave traveller!

Yes, corny opening I know but I couldn't think of anything better. This is the homepage for the 'Handy Xtra Stuff' Firefox extension, an extension that adds a few new tweaks and things to Firefox that I've found particularly helpful and, hopefully, so shall you. It also allows the fixing of a few niggles that I (and many others) have had with new versions of Firefox.

New in Firefox 2 is the ability to set a custom webpage source viewer (about time!). Unfortunately, Firefox doesn't come with any UI to configure this, by default. This extension adds such a UI, and a handy 'View source' toolbar button.

Another feature that is nice is to be able to work offline. Sometimes it's good, because you want to use a locally cached version of a webpage even when connected to the net. Although this is available as a menuitem, this extension adds a handy toolbar button to toggle working online and offline.

This extension adds the option to copy the ALT or TITLE text of images, if either is provided. In addition, it adds the option to popup ALT text of images.
